Smoke over Upottery near Honiton early on Monday morning is coming from a barn fire.
Two fire engines from Honiton, a water carrier from Danes Castle in central Exeter, an incident support unit from Bovey Tracey and a fire engine from Chard have been at the incident. About a hundred hay bales and machinery units were in the barn at the time of the blaze.
Fire crews from Honiton and Chard stayed on after the fire came under control to prevent escalation and to protect the surrounding area.
