Nearly 200 people were charged with criminal offences in Devon and Cornwall last year, thanks to information given through Crimestoppers.
The offences included serious crimes like murder, rape, human trafficking and drug dealing.
The service allows people to provide information which is passed on to the police, without disclosing anything about their own identity.
