Kinky Boots The Musical at Theatre Royal Plymouth

A new production of the hit musical Kinky Boots is heading out on tour, with a week’s stint in Plymouth.

It will feature Strictly’s Johannes Radebe and rising stars Dan Partridge and Courtney Bowman, alongside a world-class creative director who’s worked on shows like The Wizard of Oz & Billy Elliot.

This award-winning musical is based on a true story, about a shoe factory in Northampton that produces boots for drag queens to save itself, featuring an incredible score by Cyndi Lauper.

Lauper said: “The show is one of the things I’m proudest of in my career, and I’m so excited that audiences will get to see it again, in a new production. 

It’s like a happy pill – and we could all use some of that right now! I can’t think of a better time or place to relaunch this special show in its place of origin.”
