Driver arrested on suspicion of careless driving
A woman in her twenties has died following reports she fell from a bridge on the outskirts of Exeter and was then hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Police were notified of the incident at around 12.45am on Saturday 1 February.
A 45-year-old man from Exmouth arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving has been bailed pending further enquiries.
