A man's tried to mug a woman in Honiton... but was foiled when she fought him off.
The would-be thief grabbed her in New Street yesterday evening, took hold of her bag and punched her in the face.
But she kicked him and managed to get her bag back before he ran off.
The suspect was tall with a skinny build, aged about 20, wearing black tracksuit trousers, a dark grey pull-on hooded top with the hood up, a dark purple-rimmed baseball cap, and black Converse boots.
