The effects of the collapse of Carillion on employees and subcontractors in Devon are still being explored by local Jobcentres.
Around 200 jobs are thought to be at risk in the county.
Carillion runs services in schools and the NHS and also maintains Exeter, Channings Wood and Dartmoor prisons.
Jerry Rice, from Honiton Jobcentre, says while there is still a lot of uncertainty, the work done by Carillion will still need doing.
