43 year old Stephen Crook was found injured in a house on Alphington Road last Thursday night - he later died in hospital.
Steven Webster, who's 40 years from Okehampton, is due before Exeter Magistrates Court later today.
25 year old Ryan Singleton from Coventry was charged with murder and possessing an offensive weapon earlier this week.
