Plans for the new Royal Clarence Hotel building are this week being revealed.
At an event in St Martin's Church in Cathedral Close this afternoon, people are being given the chance to view for the very first time plans of what the Royal Clarence could look like.
Outlines for the external facade will be on display and those attending will be able to leave their feedback on the plans.
Owner Andrew Brownsword has said in a statement that they will try "to preserve as many surviving features of historic and architectural importance" as they can, incorporating them into the new building.
The rebuild is expected to take 18 months and the owners are hoping to re-open the hotel in 2019.
