The Exeter engineer Iain Rogers - who's among 30 Greenpeace supporters being held by the Russian authorities - has made a heartfelt plea to the Prime Minister to do more to secure their release.
The group, which includes six Britons, have been detained for three weeks and charged with piracy.
In a letter to local MP Ben Bradshaw, smuggled out of his jail, Mr Rogers says the Russian authorities stormed their boat Arctic Sunrise in international Waters where they were staging a peaceful protest.
He says two members of the crew were assaulted, before they were all forced into port at gunpoint.David Cameron has told the Commons the UK Government is seeking daily updates - but Mr Bradshaw is calling for him to put more pressure on the Russian authorities.
