It's after a woman was found dead
A man from Plymouth has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a property in the Stonehouse area of the city.
Police were called to Ilbert Street at around 4.15pm on Saturday 29 July to reports of concern for the welfare of a woman.
Officers forced entry to the property and gave emergency first aid. Despite their efforts, 53-year-old Hazel Huggins was pronounced dead at the scene.
24-year-old Bradley Huggins, of Ilbert Street, has been charged with murder and will appear before Plymouth Magistrates' Court on Monday 31 July.
It's believed they were both known to each other.
Hazel's family said: "Hazel was a bright shining light and loved by many. The family are grieving their loss and ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”
