Police, schools and local authorities are working more closely together to prevent child sex exploitation in Devon.
An improved strategy's being launched today, bringing together initiatives around the region - and it could be rolled out nationally.
It involves better training for police staff to help them recognise the signs of sexual abuse or exploitation, and the involvement of voluntary bodies as well as schools and councils.
