It will provide specialist provision for students with social communication and interaction needs.
Glendinning House Academy will be a special free school for children aged 7 to 19.
It will provide 120 new places for children who'd benefit from a special environment - because of barriers to learning.
The school will be built on the site of the former Haytor View Primary School and Children’s Centre in Sandringham Road.
