Plans have been submitted for a £4.5 million railway station for the new town of Cranbrook in East Devon.
The County Council initially wants to build a single platform, but there would be potential for a second track and platform.
The new station would serve Cranbrook, the Sky Park and Exeter Science Park.
They'd be cycle parking, a taxi rank and bus links.
Work could start in spring next year.
