It looks as if the chief executive of the Environment Agency will be invited to visit the regularly flooded Tipton St John primary school in east Devon.
The local MP Hugo Swire has said he'll ask him to come and see for himself the problems facing the school - which flooded again just before it was due to open after the Christmas break.
Two years ago the school found another site away from the flood-risk area - but was refused Government funding to relocate.
