A man's been arrested after a stabbing in Topsham yesterday evening.
An ambulance was called to a property in Altamira where a man had suffered wounds to his face and back - he was taken to the RD&E and later transferred to Derriford Hospital where he's in a stable but critical condition.
Meanwhile ambulance crews had alerted police who arrested a 60 year old man from the Exeter area on suspicion of serious assault - he's being held for questioning.
