Gylnn Valley stretch was shut for 12 hours
A Devon man has died following a single-car crash on the A38 on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Glynn Valley in Cornwall at around 5.05am after the incident near Doublebois involving a silver Ford C-MAX Estate.
The driver, in his 40s and from Plymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers closed the road for 12 hours for investigative work including an examination of the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and appealing for any witnesses to come forward or anyone who may have relevant dashcam of the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact police online or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 157 of 22 June.
