Exeter's community energy group have passed a significant milestone in their work to start generating solar power and selling electricity to the National Grid.
The project is funded by selling shares to the local community, so that they own a green energy supply.
The group have now signed an initial agreement with Shillingford Organic to install solar panels on one of their buildings.
