The rest of the property suffered light smoke damage
Crews tackled a fire at a property in Exeter last night [5 January].
On arrival at Elm Grove Road just before midnight, the officers from Danes Castle confirmed it was coming from the kitchen which was completely damaged.
The rest of the property suffered light smoke damage.
In a statement, the fire service added: "To deal with the incident crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, a safety jet, a short extension ladder, a thermal image camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan."
