Prison to get body scanners
Exeter Prison is to get new X-ray body scanners to help prevent people smuggling in phones, drugs and weapons.
HMP Exeter will be among 16 of the most challenging prisons to receive the 'tough new security measures', says the prisons minister.
It is all part of a major Government’s crackdown on crime behind bars.
