Child-killer Robert Black, 68, was never charged over Aylesbere teenager's disappearance
Prison sources say convicted child killer Robert Black has died in prison at the age of 68.
Black was a key suspect of the murder of Aylesbere teeanger Genette Tate, who disappeared in 1978 whilst doing a paper round in the East Devon village near Exeter Airport.
Police said there were striking similarities between that case and the disappearance of a girl in 1981 who Black was convicted of murdering. But the Crown Prosecution Service said there wasn't enough evidence to charge him.
Black was serving 12 life sentences for the murders of four schoolgirls in the 1980s.
