A pioneering green energy project in Exeter has been awarded Government funding.
The initiative involves designing and building a large-scale solar thermal and heat pumping system to supply the community energy centre in Cranbrook.
It will work alongside the existing combined heat and power system to provide cheaper and lower-carbon heating and hot water.
The project will receive a share of a six million pound fund from the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
