Fire crews were called just before 7.30pm last night (Friday 6th July)
Police are asking for any information about the arson attack on a freshly harvested field behind Sowden Lane, Barnstaple.
They think the fire was started just before 7.30pm.
Anyone in the area at the time who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incidetnt log DCP 20180706 939.
