An Exmouth boy who raised more than five thousands pounds for transplant charities is asking for people to sign an electronic petition so that more people become organ donors.
Right now, people have to choose to carry a donor card, but Harry Wright, who's 10 and goes to Withycombe Raleigh Primary School, wants the system change so that people have to opt-out if they don't want to donate.
Harry's mum, Sarah, died last week at the age of 37 whilst on the waiting list for a double lung transplant. Harry's asking for people to go to the government's e-petitions website and search for "organ donation - switch to an opt-out system."
The petition is available here - http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/38220.
