World Cup rugby is heading to Exeter. It's been announced that Sandy Park will be one of the 13 match venues for the tournament in 2015, which starts on September 18th.
The Premiership Rugby ground will play host to three World Cup matches, starting with Tonga taking on the qualifiers of Africa One, ... then the winners of Africa One and Europe One, and finally Italy against Europe Two.
The news has been welcomed by the city council who say it'll put Exeter on the world map - and the city will do its utmost to contribute to the event and welcome UK and international visitors.
