No ifs, no butts
Eighteen billion cigarettes are produced every day, but only a third of the butts end up in the bin, according to two Exeter teenagers, who have launched an initiative to help them fund a school trip to Costa Rica next year.
During the ten years fags take to decompose, they release toxins into the water system. So Jack, 15 and Daisy, 16, have borrowed kit from Exeter City Council to do something about it.
