Exeter City kept their automatic play-offs hopes alive with another victory against Chesterfield yesterday (17th April).
Jayden Stockely scored his 17th goal of the season to help the Grecians edge past bottom of the table Chesterfield. The victory sees Exeter, who lost in the play-off final at Wembley last year against Blackpool, leap frog Notts County into fourth - just two posts shy of the automatic promotion spot.
Exeter manager Paul Tisdale said: " There are three games to go and we're two points away from Wycombe. We are thinking of third, we just have to keep on the heels of Wycombe and take nothing for granted.
"We can do no more than win all our games, If they (Wycombe) win all there games fair play to them, they deserve it. We just have to be ready if they don't."
