Police want footage of the Exmouth incident
Officers are looking for anyone who may have filmed an incident on Exmouth beach yesterday afternoon (Monday 7th January 2019)
A young horse rider was chased by a dog until she fell off, then the dog chased the horse into the sea.
A number of people witnessed the incident, but officers would like video to help identify the dog and its owner.
The dog was one of 2 - believed to be Hungarian Vyzlers. The dog made off from its owner and chased the horse for 15 minutes. The rider asked the owner to call it back, but it's reported he said "no" and carried on walking.
The owner is described as being white, between 60-65yrs, wearing a green wax jacket, corduroy trousers and a checked flat cap. Anyone with information is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting CR/2334/19.
