Two injured; one critical
A cyclist is in hospital with serious life-threatening injuries following a collision with another bike on Bank Holiday Friday, the VE Day anniversary.
Devon Air Ambulance took a 54-year local man involved in the crash near Collihole Farm at Chagford to hospital. The other cyclist, a 19-year-old local man, sustained minor injuries.
Local police as well as officers from the alliance roads policing team and serious collison investigation team attended the incident at around 8.45am. The road was closed for a forensic investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information should ring police on 101 quoting log number 190 of 8 May. Calls cost 15 pence.
