Death is suspicious
Officers in Cornwall investigating a suspected murder have discovered a body in woodlands near Truro.
The body has been formally identified as 50-year-old Lee Hockley (pictured above), and his family has been informed.
Authorities are treating his death as suspicious and are appealing to the public for any information regarding his last known movements.
Lee Hockley was last seen in Truro city centre on Monday, 23rd June, before taking a bus to the Trispen area.
The last confirmed sighting was in Trispen later that evening, and his whereabouts beyond then are unknown, but he's likely to have travelled on foot.
Police are asking anyone who lives in Trispen, Tresillian, or the surrounding villages to check their dashcam or doorbell footage.
There will be a heightened police presence in the area in the coming days as inquiries continue, and at this time, there is no further risk to the community.
