The amount of money being conned out of people in Devon by rogue doorstep traders has doubled in just two years.
In 2010 just over fifty thousand pounds was lost to so-called 'doorstep crime'.. this year it's already almost a hundred thousand.
Trading Standards have released the figures as they launch a campaign warning householders to just say NO to cold callers.
They're also urging asking anyone who has been conned to report it - to help them, and police, get on the track of the cowboy traders.
